Fooled

The truth is I’ve never fooled anyone. I’ve let people fool themselves. They didn’t bother to find out who and what I was. Instead they would invent a character for me. I wouldn’t argue with them. They were obviously loving somebody I wasn’t.

Now they're back up. You lost your chance.

Trust

You can’t just wake up one morning & ask someone if they trust you expecting a straight up yes or no answer. No matter how long its been; few weeks, months, maybe even after years. It builds silently. Unnoticed. You just know when someone trusts you, you feel it. You feel them setting the weight of their world on yours without hesitation because they trust that you’ll be there with a helping hand to keep it revolving.

Open Her Trust

Call her whenever you can. Call her randomly and tell her 

what you’re doing, who you’re with or where you’re at, 

so she doesn’t have to sit there wondering and worrying 

where you are. It makes her smile - really it does. 

Most importantly it’s a way to open up her trust because 

it shows that you’re reliable & maybe, just maybe..trust worthy enough.
