Make it or Break it

Think of something really hard you've had to go through in the past. Well, you survived it. You're alive, aren't you? Think about the next time you're going through a really hard time. You'll pull through. You'll survive. You are strong. Your skin may tear, and your bones may break, but your soul? Your soul can never be irreversibly damaged.

Teenagers

Nobody ever listens to a teenager. Everyone thinks we should be happy since we are still young. But nobody know the battles we go through everyday.

Safety

The only two places where I feel absolutely safe are either in a bed with fresh, white sheets and pillows surrounding my head or in water. Like on the bottom of a swimming pool. Alone. Weightless. Peaceful. Nobody talking. Nobody pretending. Just being. Those are the only two places. Everywhere else I get smacked in the face with arrogance, Ignorance, Shallowness. They knock me down and leave me bleeding on the floor.

Save Me

Maybe some friendships aren't meant to be saved; maybe we're meant to spend a certain part of our lives with certain people, then move on.

Strangers

Think about how many people have sat next to you on a bus, train, whatever. Now think how many people have sat next to you on purpose, with their fingers crossed in hopes that you will talk to them. I’m sure somebody has. There are plenty of times when somebody has seen you and hoped that you would talk to them, but you never did, because you don’t have the guts, and neither do they. Don’t go around thinking nobody likes you and that you’re not loved. There have been plenty of times when a stranger spotted you and thought “oh they’re just my type,” but didn’t have the courage or confidence to open their mouth and initiate a conversation, the funny thing is neither did you.

Forever After

I’ve heard it a million times. “You can do better. You deserve so much more.” In reality, you’re right. But sometimes when you love, you love the person for who they are despite what they’ve done wrong to you. That’s what love does to you. It’s not about who you deserve, it’s about who you want, who you need, and who you love.
